Below is a breakdown of how an item is rated in the corrosponding sections.

Mint (M) Perfect condition.

Near Mint (NM)   No obvious signs of wear; cover is free from creases, folds, seam splits, ink.

Very Good Plus (VG+) Some signs of play; cover slightly worn.

Very Good (VG) Surface noise somewhat evident; light scratches may affect sound; cover could be marked with ink or have sales sticker attached.

Good (G) Visible groove wear/scratches; ring wear, ink or sticker on cover; plays without skipping. 

Poor (P) Cracked, badly warped, skips or repeats; cover marred by wear or writing; LP cover barely keeps LP inside it.

Still Sealed (SS) Never opened, never played.

Picture Sleeve (PS) Covers that accompany 45s and 12-inch Singles. DJ/Promo copies of 12-Inch come with standard record label release covers.
